Lumens and LEDs That Use Them Explained

Ben Anton asked:

All right, I lied. I really can’t give you a simple answer to the meaning of life, but if you’re looking for a simple explanation of how a lumen is used to measure lights, and why LED lamps are the most efficient way of producing high light output, you’ve come to the right place. Describing the measurement of light is, by nature, a complex thing. In order to understand what a lumen actually measures, you need to understand a little about how light has been measured historically.

Lumens

The technical definition of lumen is this: A lumen is the standard measurement for a unit of luminous flux, a measure of the perceived power of light. Unlike radiant flux, which measures the total amount of light energy put out by a light source, luminous flux measures the amount of light that can be perceived by the human eye. Let’s look at a concrete example to help make that clearer.

Imagine that you are standing in the center of a sphere with a radius of 1 meter. You are holding a birthday candle. Take a square of cardboard that measures 1 meter on all sides and put it against the wall of the sphere so that the edges rest against the wall. One lumen is the amount of light that falls on that square of cardboard. The more candles you light at the center of the sphere, the more lumens you are shining on the cardboard, and the brighter the light is.

But how does that translate to the lighting measurements that we’re used to? Most people are familiar with incandescent light bulbs that are measured in watts. While it seems to make sense that the higher wattage you use, the brighter the light you get, it’s not really the way that it works. That’s because watts and lumens measure two very different things. A watt is a unit of electrical energy – in other words, input. A lumen is a measure of light intensity – output. More simply – a light bulb uses watts to make lumens.

A standard 100 watt incandescent light bulb uses 100 watts of power to put out about 1500-1700 lumens, or about 17 lumens per watt (17 lm/w). We’ve known for quite a long time that it’s not a very efficient way to make light. By contrast, compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs), which are the most common replacement for incandescent bulbs, put out 35 to 60 lumens per watt. That means that you can get the same amount of light for one half to one quarter of the power spent. LED (light-emitting diode) lamps offer even more lighting efficiency. There are already manufacturer making LED lamps that put out 100 lumens per watt, and the U.S. Department of Energy is on track with an energy plan that calls for LEDs that put out 160 lumens per watt by 2025.

Currently, LED lamps and lighting are still considered too expensive for typical home lighting – but that’s not the case in flashlights and portable lights. In fact, LED lamps really shine when it comes to flashlights.

– LED lamps are brighter than incandescent bulbs. LED lamps have been measured at up to 60 times brighter than filament bulbs that draw the same amount of power.

– LED lamps last longer than filament bulbs. And we’re talking exponentially longer. An LED lamp for your flashlight could conceivably last up to 10,000 hours.

– LED lamps use less power, so batteries last 2 to 10 times longer.

Your flashlight is the one piece of emergency equipment on which you should be able to depend – it only makes sense to choose a flashlight with an LED lamp that’s brighter, more dependable and longer lasting.

Revolutionizing Light Emitting Diodes : Bringing Relief In Cancer Clinical Trials

pvyas asked:

Light emitting diodes that were earlier associated as only an electronic light source, today has become a part of a noble cause – to help cure a person of cancer. This might sound a little abhorrent, but the truth is that the professors of neurology, pediatrics and hyper baric medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin are convinced, that using LEDs can improve a bone-marrow transplant patient’s quality of life, after conducting several successful human trials.

This light emitting diode, an indispensable part of the optics and optical components, ensures a painless and secure process wherein an array of light helps ease or prevent some of the pain and discomfort associated with cancer treatment. This clinical trial is presently in its second part. As the first part was very encouraging, the doctors could not resist themselves from indulging in the expansion of these trials to several U.S. and foreign hospitals.

The scientists as well as the researchers are of the opine that the cells exposed to near infrared light from LEDs, grow 150 to 200 percent faster than cells not stimulated by such light. Thus, the healing process speeds up as the light arrays increase energy inside these cells. It came to notice that in the first trial, the use of LEDs showed a significant relief to pediatric bone-marrow transplant patients suffering the ravages of oral mucositis. Thus, LEDs were found to be effective in overcoming the common side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. It was also found to be effective in the reduction of the mucositis problem which is very painful.

The treatment device that is creating this magic is the 3-by-5-inch portable, flat array of light-emitting diodes that is held on the outside of the patients cheek. However, a foil is placed between the flesh and the LED array to avoid any kind of sham treatment. This clinical trial will go on for about three more years to complete with a total of 80 patients.

After comparing the result of the first trial it was found that the percentage of patients with ulcerative oral mucositis to historical epidemiological controls were just 53 percent of the treated patients in the bone- marrow transplant group developed mucositis, considerably less than the usual rate of 70-90 percent. The researchers are still awaiting the the approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, before the device can be made available for widespread use.

These Leds have proven to be of utmost importance in hundreds of applications. Among the optics and optical market, these light emitting diodes are also known to be beneficial in providing lights for plants that are grown on the Space Station as part of commercial experiments sponsored by NASA industry.

Recycling Garbage is Trendy!

Design on a Dollar

What can you make for a buck?

Oh how I envy the hope and naivety of the young. Kids that have yet to experience the real world and think that they can save the world by turning garbage into art. In this case, it’s a required part of their curriculum, so it’s for a worthy cause, namely getting them a degree. This is a nice gallery of things that you can make for “a dollar” which you definitely can’t get an led light bulb for at the moment. It’s a good idea, but probably not something that I would spend money on. Though if it is in fact, one dollar, then I guess it would be worth it.

I would have enjoyed doing something like this back when I was in school, but my extent of recycling was turning a juice box into a bomb…It’s like the Zoolander concept brought to life….Mugatu’s Derelict.

Led Light Bulbs

Russell Neal asked:

Led light bulbs will one day become the dominant source of lighting on the planet-if not the exclusive source. They solve a multitude of economic and environmental problems that have plagued and continue to plague users of other types of lamps. The reason for this lies in the manner in which a led bulb generates light. Unlike incandescents and fluorescent bulbs, a led light does not utilize a filament or any type of luminary gas. Instead, led lighting bulb technology is based on something completely different-a semi conductive component known as a “diode.” By passing a low voltage current through a diode, one can agitate electrons within its composite substances, causing light to radiate into the surroundings. This light is cool burning and will not cause heat pollution in work and living areas. Because these bulbs do not rely on inert gases of any kind, they pose no threat to the environment, and the substances of which they are composed are virtually unbreakable compared to standard lamps.

Led light bulbs offer every color in the rainbow now to both home and commercial users. A led’s color directly results from the chemical composition of the diode itself. The most recent breakthrough came a few short years ago, when Chinese scientists learned to mix blue and yellow in the precise combination necessary to create a white LED. Previous to this advancement, led light bulbs always represented a primary color, and as such were very useful for display, indicator, and instrument lighting, but not yet ready to replace incandescents whose bright white light established them long ago as the world’s primary source of artificial lighting. When white led bulbs entered the lighting market, an explosion in size, design, modification, and engineering followed as lighting manufacturers immediately saw the benefits of creating alternatives to previous technologies and seizing the opportunity of the moment to pass on both green technology and cost-conscious savings to corporate and individual clients. Not long after these developments occurred, California passed a law that now requires all incandescent lights be replaced no later than 2010, making retrofitting a legal matter at this point for West Coast residents as well as a cost and earth conscious decision.

Linear strip lights utilize a bulb type known as “festoon,” and many high-end resorts, casinos, and country clubs in California use festoon bulbs for both seasonal and year round decorations. With a ban on incandescents now pending, corporations and individuals alike in California will now have to look for retrofitted alternatives if they are currently using any type of incandescent festoon light source. This is not as big a problem as it may sound, nor is it expensive when one considers ROI beyond up front procurement costs.

In an era where concern over global warming is approaching the level of worldwide alarm, now more than ever is a time to consider going “green,” not necessarily in terms of the color of a led light bulb, but in terms of its innate quality and value. It never hurts a company’s public image to promote itself as a leader in newer, more efficient forms of non-destructive power. Furthermore, led lights feature a bulb life that ranges from 30,000 bulb hours to over 100,000 bulb hours. Replacements are very rare, and therefore, seldom a cost factor to consider when forecasting budget. Immediate return on the front-end investment one makes in begins to accrue monthly on every subsequent power bill post retrofitting date. This is truly a win-win scenario for anyone.

Commercial LED Street Lights and Architectural Security Lighting

R. Neal asked:

Commercial LED lighting creates a number of competitive advantages for to the contractor developing a proposal for a school, municipality, church, non-profit organization, corporate headquarters, or resort location. Regardless of fixture type, all commercial LED lights use less electricity than comparatively priced fluorescent fixtures. Because they are the most energy efficient lights in the world, commercial led lights are an excellent investment for any organization strapped with high power bills that needs to immediately begin reducing overhead. As the sophistication of led white light continues to evolve, commercial led lights have now worked their way into every major outdoor lighting application. New developments in diode technology allow light and color levels to be customized to the environment and directed with greater precision than metal halide and high-pressure sodium equivalents. This offers the added benefit of not only lower lighting costs, but also less light pollution.

RLLD Commercial Lighting works with lighting designers and commercial contractors from Coast to Coast as a multi-manufacturer distributor of commercial led lighting fixtures available for major outdoor lighting applications.

LED Street Lighting

Many cities across the US are experimenting with led streetlights. They are quickly discovering that these fixtures provide a much more controllable and efficient form of lighting than incandescent sources. LED street lights allow for more precise control of the light beam itself, making it possible to light streets and sidewalks without excess spill light creeping into yards and shining into windows. LED street lights can be shifted toward either the red or blue end of the spectrum in order to match different wavelengths of light to the different lighting requirements of specific times of day and night.

Commercial led streetlights could potentially reduce some municipal lighting costs as much as 50% in some cities and towns, and the lifespan of these fixtures (5 times longer than MH and HPS lamps), offers additional savings by minimizing maintenance and replacement costs.

LED Security Lighting

For organizations that want to create an environmentally friendly campus, commercial led security floodlights offer a light source free of greenhouse gases. Because they burn cooler than other security lights, they are also friendlier to trees, shrubs, and gardens. LED security lights last much longer than HPS and MH lamps, making them the most cost effective option for large university campuses and non-profit centers who must be Spartan in their maintenance budgets. Commercial led security lights are fully dimmable and feature instant on capability with no buzzing noises or annoying flicker. They are also are very difficult to vandalize.

As technology continues to improve lumens to watt efficiency, expect commercial led security lights to become brighter and even more energy efficient than ever, and expect them as well to offer even greater lighting control with almost zero glare and light pollution.

Architectural LED lighting

As more buildings ornate and eclectic architectural designs, the need increases for architectural lights to reflect the uniqueness of structural geometry in a highly customized fashion. LED commercial architectural lights can be obtained not only in power saving, low voltage fixture designs, but also in a full spectrum of special colors that can be combined to create entire lighting themes on building walls and rooftops

For organizations looking for exceptional sign lighting and architectural corporate branding, these led building lights offer both a cost savings and a versatility that no other architectural lighting fixture can deliver with as much variety and precision lighting control.

For connecting walkways, portable buildings, or high-profile outdoor break or entertainment areas, led commercial lights can also provide highly versatile, energy efficient, and pollution free general area lighting. They also work exceptionally well for outdoor country club lighting, where stray balls from nearby course ways can easily break incandescent or fluorescent fixtures. Municipal headquarters, civic centers, and large churches are additional examples of clients who can benefit from this highly customizable and cost effective form of general area lighting.

LED commercial landscape Lighting

Many corporations are approaching the current recession with a sense of cautious determination. They realize that certain investments have to be made, but at the same time, they will only invest in contractors who can predict within reason an estimated return on investment. LED commercial landscape lights offer not only the power saving features of solid state technology, but they also feature a full range of low voltage lighting options that can further reduce energy consumption to only 8% of what is used by incandescent equivalents. This super efficiency allows you to put a dollar amount in savings next to your line items and to win the contract in the most competitive bidding situations.

Go Green With LED Lights in your Homes and Gardens

Foryourhome asked:

History and introduction of LED lightings

LED’s have been around since the 60s, but have mostly been relegated to showing the time in an alarm clock or the battery level of a video camera. Its use as a source of illumination was a challenging one for scientists. Light Emitting Diodes or LED Lightings- differ from traditional light sources in the way they produce light. In incandescent bulbs, a tungsten filament is heated by electric current until it glows or emits light. In a fluorescent lamp, an electric arc excites mercury atoms, which emit ultraviolet (UV) radiation. After striking the phosphor coating on the inside of glass tubes, the UV radiation is converted and emitted as visible light. On other hand LED’s are diodes made from semi-conductor materials. This is why they are referred to as “solid state” devices and relies on indium gallium nitride to convert electricity into photons with help of direct current (DC) instead of alternating current (AC) There are other types of Lights which on the principle of solid state objects like semi conductor but LED’s are the most relevant for general illumination. It consists of a chip of semi-conducting material treated to create an electric circuit. An LED is usually a small area source, often with extra optics added to the chip that shapes its radiation pattern. The specific wavelength or color emitted by the LED depends on the materials used to make the diode. It depends on the composition and condition of the semi conducting material used, and can be infrared, visible, or near-ultraviolet. Red LED’s are based on aluminum gallium arsenide (AlGaAs). Blue LED’s are made from indium gallium nitride (InGaN) and green from aluminum gallium phosphide (AlGaP). “White” light is created by combining the light from red, green, and blue (RGB) LED’s or by coating a blue LED with yellow phosphor. LED based lights are still under development but it is predicted it will radically change the energy consumption patterns of the world over the next few years. As such there’s a phenomenal amount of resources being devoted to improving LED technology worldwide. The U.S. has committed an uncharacteristically large amount of industrial policy support for LED research and development. Asia is a hotbed of cutting-edge manufacturing technology and Europe and Canada have led the way in energy efficient initiatives accompanied by some of some of the most innovative design styles you can find anywhere.

Advantages and disadvantages of LED lightings

They have extremely low power consumption. LED lights use up to 90% less power than normal lights, which has many more advantages than you would ever assume. Firstly electrical running costs are reduced, not only reducing the demand placed on your household energy consumption but feel good knowing you are saving energy and becoming green, the global warming factor. Along the same line, the other major advantage of LED lights is that you can connect multiple sets of LED lights together from only one plug or socket, more sets than non LED lights due to the lower power consumption. This is not only practical resulting in the requirement for less power sockets, but you can lit larger multiple area with little drilling of your walls. Just imagine powering a string of lights ½ mile long from a single electrical socket. With LED’s you can use more light than ever before and still save money. While the small energy draw of LED’s would indicate many more could be strung together, until the UL listing is changed for the standard plug connected light sets, it is prudent to adhere to the current regulations for risk management. Since LED lights don’t contain any energy hungry materials, they are very efficacious-convert energy to light, not heat as non LED’s lights do. These make them intrinsically safe and are generally cool to the touch. LED’s lights can provide with 50,000 hours or more of life, which can tremendously reduce maintenance costs and time. This means, assuming an average twelve hour night, you will not need to change your LED lights after a good eleven year. In comparison, an incandescent light bulb lasts approximately 1,000 hours. Fluorescents are rated for 10,000 hours under ideal conditions. Along with this LED lights are incredibly bright, 3 times brighter than traditional lights, this makes them ideal for a wide range of situations, offering much greater impact and appeal than subdued traditional bulbs. The known problem of replacing blown and the inconvenience and undesired appearance of multiple failed bulbs isn’t an issue with LED’s. With such a long bulb life you can be sure of a fully functioning set of lights, which can be happily left outside requiring no maintenance and minimal routine care. Further mentioning the longevity of LED lights, LED’s are manufactured as one solid piece, with no glass or filaments to break. As such these lights are resistant to shock and vibration, which makes them more durable than non LED lights. Plus they have better quality light output since they have minimum ultraviolet and infrared radiation. LED lights have much greater design freedom in terms of color flexibility including many “whites” – without the use of filters, fully dimmable, new form factors for fixture designs which give us innumerable options to look for. Lastly the most important benefits if you are environment conscious is LED’s unlike Fluorescent and mercury vapor lighting which contains mercury, a hazardous waste to the environment and must be disposed of properly, LED’s don’t contain mercury and are not considered hazardous waste designating them environmental friendly.

Shopping guide for LED lightings

LED lights have started flooding the market but before purchase see to it what are you looking for. LED lights were initially started to be used in commercial environments like entertainment shows, theaters etc. Also, LED lights are already the best light source for traffic signals, vehicular tail lights, emergency lighting and flashlights. Increasingly nowadays, Home LED lightings such as accent wall LED lights, task, landscape and even outdoor LED lighting such as garden Pole LED lightings have arrived in the market. After deciding upon the type of LED lighting, check the prices around various online shop. Price is a hard thing to remain constant since most companies post retail type prices online and are willing to accept your bargain call for bulk purchases. Your best bet is to have a specific LED lighting type in mind and browse through several LED light shop. Check the kind of warranties the selected shop is giving you in terms of lamp life span and durability of LED lights. The light output declines over time so at some point, though the lamp is technically lit, it is not providing the same effect as intended in the beginning. Market pitching shop owner will seem to claim very high lamp life, while more honest LED shop will opt for the lower numbers. A reasonable lamp life for most LED’s seen in the market is around 50,000 hours but if it is more see what kind of warranties and return policy is in place if the claim is not fulfilled by the seller.

As we can see LED lightings have so many benefits compared to other form of lightings that sooner or later its usage will be common. More widespread use could lead to big energy savings and a revolution in the way we think about lighting. And We at For your Home would be part of these revolution, would you like to join?

Led Outdoor Lighting Stands The Test Of Time

Ann Marier asked:

Lighting a home can be a complex task, since a good lighting system can require different lights for different purposes. One of the things that should be considered in a lighting system is what kind of lights to use around the outside of the home. Right now, the homeowner has three choices: incandescent bulbs, halogen bulbs, and outdoor LED lighting.

Incandescent bulbs and halogen bulbs are currently popular inside, but for outdoor lighting, LED lights hold some distinct advantages. If you haven’t heard much about the advantages of LED outdoor lighting, read on and find out what makes these little devices so great.

LED Saves Energy

One of the advantages to LED outdoor lighting is that LEDs require a relatively small amount of wattage to produce the same amount of light as an incandescent or halogen bulb. Because of this, LEDs are low-energy solutions for lights that may be on for more than a few hours each night.

What this means is that those who are interested in using less electricity for environmental reasons, LED outdoor lighting will be the solution you’re looking for. And for the rest of us, LED outdoor lighting translates to lower energy bills.

LED Runs Cooler

Another distinct advantage to LED outdoor lighting is that while other kinds of bulbs produce heat energy as well as light energy, LED outdoor lighting only produces light, which means bulbs remain cool to the touch. This makes it safer to put lights in reach of little hands, for households with children. It also means that these lights are ideal for applications such as landscape lighting, where placing light bulbs that run hot near plants could spell disaster.

LED Lasts Longer

LED outdoor lighting will last longer than both incandescent and halogen bulbs, which are another strong selling point of these lights. And even better, when these bulbs do start to go, they will simply start to slowly dim, giving a homeowner a heads-up that they need to change their bulbs.

Compare this to incandescent bulbs, which break inside when they burn out, or halogen bulbs, which blink irritatingly as they start to go, and you’ll see that LED outdoor lighting will be better in the long run.

While mentioning the longevity of LED outdoor lighting, it is good to note that because LEDs are manufactured as one solid piece, with no glass or filaments to break, these lights are resistant to shock, vibration, and impact, which makes them hardier than the average lightbulb. So, for a low-energy, low-head, and long-lasting lighting on the outside of your house, turn to LED outdoor lighting.

Medication Through Meditation of Coloured Lights

Khwaja Shamsuddin Azeemi asked:

Meditation of Colored LightsMeditation of Colored Lights

Author: Kwaja Shamsuddin Azeemi (spiritual scientist & Patriarch of Azeemia sufi order)

Everything that exists in this world is dominated by one or more colors. Nothing is of no color. Chemistry reveals that any element goes through changes, it emits specific colors. This order of the colors is the basic characteristic of any element. That is why in every element the order of color is different. The same rule applies to humans as well. A well-organized system of colors and waves works in humans. The balance of those colors and waves controls the overall health of the individual. Changing of color affects the mood of the individual as well.

Colors also play an important role in the fields of emotions and feelings. It is our daily observation that when someone hears bad or tragic news, he or she gets pale. Fear also changes the color while during anger, eyes and face becomes red.

When color of room is red, it creates a feeling of burden or heaviness but if the same room is colored blue then peace and serenity is felt. Greenery and colorful flowers help us get rid of mental and physical fatigue. However, when the same trees become leafless during autumn our feelings change as well.

The theory of colors and lights states that those specific amounts of colors are prevalent not only in the physical body of humans but also in any specific color increased or decreased or their ratio is changed, it leads to a change of feelings and emotions in an individual.

In the spiritual sciences, the color code is intentionally changed in student so that his or her mind could come close to the sub consciousness. Continued practice of muraqbah also helps in improving coloration in the senses. It is imperative that changes in the colors be done solely to improve or to awaken any specific skill. When supplementing colors and lights are not used to improve any specific sense, then normal senses are affected by it. A spiritual master always keeps his eyes on the progress of his student. When needed he can adjust the ratio of colors using his spiritual discretion (tasarraf) so that the consciousness remains functional with those changes in colors and light.

On the other hand, when these changes occur in an individual abnormally then the body malfunctions and usually manifests in physical or psychological disorders. These disorders are usually labeled as general diseases or ailments like hypertension, anemia, asthma, cancer arthritis, nervous and sensory or emotional disorders.

According to the spiritual sciences, only an expert spiritual master decides what color of light needs changing. In these decisions the personality type, mental strength, way of thinking, physical form and other factors are taken into consideration.

Using muraqbah, the following are the different methods of absorbing lights of any particular color in an individual.

METHOD-1: sit in a comfortable position and imagine the waves of color of light and being absorbed by the whole body.

METHOD-2: during the muraqbah imagine that from the sky the waves of color and light are falling and are being absorbed into your brain.

METHOD-3: during the muraqbah imagine the entire surrounding environment lit with the same light.

METHOD-4: imagine that you are immersed in the river of that light.

Medically and physiologically, each color of light has its own attributes. When the muraqbah of a certain color of light is performed, it cause chemical changes in the brain, which enables it to absorb as much as possible the light of that color. Since medical and psychological disorders are not the subject matter of this book we are not going to discuss this matter in detail. However, we will present muraqabas of color and light for such psychological disorders that occur because of mental confusion and paranoia.

NOTE: The decision, of what color of light muraqbah is to be given must be made by no other than a spiritual master.

BLUE LIGHTS: Blue lights are instrumental in getting rid of mental disorders, neck and back pain, vertebra malfunctions, depression, inferiority complex, and weak will power. The correct way to do the muraqbah is as follows:

Imagine that you are sitting beneath the sky and the blue light is falling from the sky into your head and after passing through your entire body is going to the earth through the feet.

CASE HISTORY:

Ms. R. Sultana from Pakistan wrote:

For the last three years, I had depression. I used to get hopelessness all the time without any obvious reason. I was aware of happiness but my life was void of it.

The muraqbah (meditation) of blue light has turned my world upside down. Within six weeks of continuing muraqbah I am feeling happy after a long time. Obviously, the blue lights have turned away the waves of sadness from me.

YELLOW LIGHT: Muraqbah of the yellow light is effective is curing digestive disorders such as gas, intestinal pain, dysentery, constipation, pyria, stomach ulcers, and similar symptoms.

CASE HISTORY:

Ms. S. Choudry from Multan Pakistan wrote:

“I had stomach ulcer for over two years, you told me to do Muraqbah of yellow-light, which I did. I was imagining that I was sitting beneath the sky and the lights of yellow color were falling into my head and were finally being stored in the stomach and the ulcer was being removed by it. For two weeks, I sensed that those lights are gradually reducing the ulcer. On the third week while doing muraqbah, a thought crossed my mind that the ulcer had been removed and now only the bright yellow lights were in my stomach. It has been a month since but I still get those feelings during muraqbah. I m no longer taking medicine for the ulcer and doing only the yellow-light muraqbah. I do not know how to thank you. You have given me a new life.”

ORANGE LIGHT: Its best recommended for chest ailments such as chronic cough, asthma, ulceration of the lungs, and tuberculosis.

CASE HISTORY:

A female patient had chronic ulceration of the lungs. The disease had reached a point where she was vomiting blood. She was told to do muraqbah of orange lights with massage of orange-light oil. Within two months the frequency of the blood vomiting dropped. After six months of the treatment, she was completely cured.

GREEN LIGHT: Muraqbah of green light is given to treat hypertension, skin disorders such as itching, eczema, discoloration of skin, gonorrhea, and syphilis.

CASE HISTORY:

N.S. wrote:

“ I had itching all over my body. For three years, I got treatment at various places. However, often the itching turned into a wound and the pain was agonizing. Nevertheless after doing muraqbah of green-light for six months I was fully cured by it.”

N.H. from Mianwali Pakistan wrote:

“I had sever high blood pressure for a while. Sometimes it gets so bad that even performing daily routines would become a challenge. My small children were affected by the condition as well. By doing muraqbah of green-light every morning and before going into bed and having a green light bulb in my bed room at night, my blood pressure came to normal within twenty day.”

RED LIGHT: The Muraqbah of red-lights is given to treat low blood pressure, depression, anemia, arthritis, low energy, cowardice, nervous break down, hopelessness, fear of death etc.

CASE HISTORY:

Mr. Sibghatullah wrote:

“ My mind always had thoughts of hopelessness. There were no obvious reasons for it. For some reason, I was always thinking negatively. With red-light Muraqbah my thinking has now changed to positive.”

VOILET LIGHT: It’s given to treat male sexual dysfunction such as impotence, loss of libido and female uterine disorders.

CASE HISTORY:

A gentleman from DIG khan, Pakistan wrote:

“Because of erectile dysfunction I was not fit to marry anyone. Consequently, I had an inferiority complex. Muraqbah of purple lights and the massage of purple-light oil have pretty much this weakness for me.”

A woman from Chichawatni, Pakistan wrote:

“I have been married for five years but was childless. Doctors had told me that my uterus was swollen. I went through different treatments but with no results. Finally the muraqbah of violet light and the massage with its oil has removed the uterine swelling and I am now pregnant.”

PINK LIGHT: Hysteria, mental seizures, weak memory, paranoia, insecurity, negative thoughts about life, isolation, are treated with Muraqbah of Pink color Lights.

CASE HISTORY:

Ms. S, from Pakistan wrote:

“Constant fear and Paranoia had filled me with cowardice and an inferiority complex. Life after marriage was such a challenge for me, I was so mortified by my husband and in-laws that even when every thing was right I was afraid of something. With this, I also had the fear of God, Every act felt like a sin and I was always repenting with fear of His wrath. All this pressure made me weak and I always felt fatigued. My husband told me to do a Muraqbah of pink light. After doing it for two months, now I am confident that I will be cured.”

Mr. Salman Ansari, wrote:

“ I used to get seizures all the time. I went through some tough times. Often it happened while I was at the market. Because of falls, I was injured several times as well. On one occasion, it happened during a shower. After about an hour people took notice of that. Thereafter someone was with me all the time. God bless Mr. Azeemi who prescribed for me the Muraqbah of pink light. I have total confidence now that God willing I will be cured by it.”
